Eve was born in London England the daughter of actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan. Jack as well as George were her little brothers. She was born and raised in England and in Los Angeles. She attended Bedales School then Westminster School London to complete her A Levels. She took English in St Catherine's College Oxford during her gap year. While in Oxford university, she performed involved in the student productions of An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers. (which took the show on tour for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.) She is from a multicultural family. Born to an Indo British of British descent Anthony Mitra & an Irish born mother Nora Downey. She is an English actor, who is in her mid-life, has two brothers: Jason Mitra (older brother) and Guyan Mitra (younger brother). She has a younger brother who is an accomplished writer of travel, and his articles appear in Lonely Planet magazine and The Sunday Times.
