Madhuri Dixit is a well-known Indian actress known for her role in the film Beta Saajan and Hum Hain Kun..! In the late 80s the actress began her acting career and became well-known for the character Tezaab which she played with an established actor Anil Kapooor. Then, she starred alongside Aamir in Dil. In her early years her Mumbai-born dancer started developing her skills at a young age. As a teenager She began to act and struggled for years because most of her first films were failures. In the end, she was successful in Indian filmmaking and rose to the very top. After her marriage, she took an interruption from her acting career. The actress returned in later years. Recently, she played a significant role in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit won 8 Filmfare Awards out of the 15 she was up for nominations. Padma Shri - the fourth highest civilian honor in India - was given to Dixit. She is known for her work in the field of social service as well.
