Zazie Olivia beetz was born on January 1st, 1991 in Berlin. Her father was a German Cabinet Maker, who emigrated into the United States following the fall of the Berlin Wall. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high-school as Beetz. After completing her studies at LaGuardia, Beetz went on to complete her studies in French at Skidmore College. She began auditioning immediately after graduation from the college. In Atlanta she was offered the role of Van. Beetz, born to an African American father and a German mother from Berlin from Berlin was raised as the only New Yorker who was bilingual. Zazie has performed in theaters around the city from the time she was a young child. She found joy and started acting at the age of elementary school. Zendaya was able to land her Disney Channel breakout role thanks her amazing dance skills. In 2010 the actress and dancer finally landed her breakout part when she got the role as Rocky Blue in the show 'Shake It Up', along with the co-star Bella Thorne. Zendaya turned vegetarian at the age of eleven after passing by the killinghouse along together with her dad on a roadtrip. PEOPLE stated that she had said: "I thought all those animals were horrifically cruel getting crammed into the place and just waiting to be killed. I was shocked to discover that's where I'd gotten my meat!" Since then, she's maintained a vegetarian lifestyle.
