Jenna Fischer's best-known role was that of Pam Beesly from the popular television show The Office. In appreciation of her performance, she received an Emmy award for Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role and received 2 SAG Awards.
In Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood at St. Louis Missouri. Jenna's mom Anne used to perform in church dramas when she was younger which sparked an passion for theater.
After wrapping up The Office, Fischer, an actress trained in theater, returned to her roots. The Off-Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy was written and directed Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. She then starred in Steve Martin's new show Meteor Shower. It was an absurd comedy piece starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg and ran for record-breaking time at Old Globe Theatre.
In October of 2019, Fischer and The Office cast-mate and real-life best friend Angela Kinsey launched the podcast Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. The podcast has since gained immense popularity, settling in the Top Ten globally every week and registering more than 200 million downloads in its first two years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She has written two books: The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide where she outlines her path to Hollywood as an actor in the field as well as Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends that Were There which is a story of the greatest friendships they enjoyed and their time on The Office.
